About me

I've been designing and making jewellery for about 5 years, and selling online for just over two. What started as a hobby has quickly grown into a bit of an obsession, to the point where my living room now resembles the (messy!) back room of a bead shop.

As well as keeping my Etsy shop ticking over, I do a lot of the 'usual' online things - facebook, Flickr, Pinterest - but blogging is different. This is where you can post whatever and whenever, and where you have the illusion that you are in charge (I'm also a control freak, can you tell? ;)

In other words, you can embrace a certain randomosity on a blog in a way you can't anywhere else. Yes, I write about jewellery and post updates on giveaways, special offers, and things I'm making, but there's also the chance to talk about lovely handmade things from other artists, or to link up with other bloggers - even to write a bit of poetry if you should feel so inclined!
